Terms of Service
An outline of the rules for using ContextHints Intel, written so counsel can turn it into the final terms.
1. The service
- ContextHints Intel is an ad library and analysis workspace for ads shown in ChatGPT, operated by Context Hints Labs Inc.
- The service is new and free to sign up for. Features and coverage will change.
- We record the version of these terms you accept. These are drafts; we will ask you to accept the final version before it applies.
For counsel: Define the parties, acceptance, eligibility and the early-access status of the service.
2. Accounts and workspaces
- Give accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
- Workspace owners and admins decide who joins their workspace and are responsible for their members' use of it.
3. Acceptable use
- Don't use the service, or data you import into it, to automate consumer AI accounts, send prompts to AI engines to harvest ads, rotate proxies, spoof fingerprints, solve CAPTCHAs or evade bot detection.
- Only import data you have the right to share, from the capture sources the product supports, with a provenance reference for every file.
- Manual captures follow the capture procedure shown on the form: your own account during normal use, no scripted prompts, no ad clicks, no pasted conversation text.
- Don't attempt to access other workspaces' data, probe or disrupt the service, or share ingestion keys outside your workspace.
For counsel: Expand into a full acceptable use policy and set out enforcement and suspension.
4. Your data
- You keep your rights in the data you import. You let us process it to provide the service.
- What your workspace captures or imports stays private to your workspace and is not pooled into the shared library. Only workspaces operated by ContextHints contribute to the shared library.
- Data from ad accounts your workspace manages stays private to your workspace and is not pooled.
For counsel: Draft the licence scope, aggregation rules for shared corpus data, and deletion on termination.
5. Our analysis
- Niches, entity matches and inferred context hints are estimates. Each is shown with the evidence behind it and may be wrong. Confidence bands use placeholder thresholds until they are calibrated on labelled data.
- Shared-library ads are classified by TypeSafe's Jev model, a sub-processor that receives advertiser content only. There is no zero-data-retention agreement with TypeSafe yet.
- Nothing in the service guarantees how an ad platform will match, deliver or price your ads.
6. Third-party ads and takedowns
- The library shows advertisers' own ad copy and excerpts of their public landing pages for research and analysis. Advertisers can ask us to remove or suppress their ads.
For counsel: Add the takedown contact, the review procedure and the legal basis for displaying third-party creatives.
7. Third-party platforms
- ChatGPT is a trademark of OpenAI. Context Hints is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI.
- You remain responsible for complying with the terms of any ad platform you use.
8. Fees
- Creating an account is free. We will tell you before any paid plan applies to your workspace.
For counsel: Add pricing, billing and renewal terms before charging.
9. Termination, disclaimers and liability
- You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. The Privacy Policy explains what is deleted and what is kept.
For counsel: Write termination rights, warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnities, governing law and dispute resolution.
